Hammed Abolaji-Oba (b. 1995, Lagos) is a Nigerian visual artist whose compelling work explores human existence and societal forces. After graduating from Yaba College of Technology in 2018, Abolaji-Oba interned at Universal Studio of Art, learning from renowned artists including Abiodun Olaku. His distinctive portraiture, primarily rendered in acrylics, serves as poignant narratives of individual struggles and triumphs against societal pressures. Through his work, he exposes social inequalities and compels viewers to confront the complexities of human experience.
