“Everlasting” unfolds like a living tapestry of memory, spirit, and landscape, an ode to continuity that stretches across generations.

At the centre, a luminous figure in white rises like a guardian or ancestral presence, surrounded by a cascade of vibrant masks. These masks, red, gold, and earth-toned, float forward with serene, closed eyes, as though carrying the dreams, struggles, and wisdom of countless souls. Behind them, tiered hills dotted with traditional round houses sweep across the horizon, suggesting a homeland held lovingly in place by the rituals and rhythms of community. Below, a shimmering river reflects the sky, and from its depths emerges a sphere bearing a human face, timeless, contemplative, and crowned with an Adinkra symbol. It feels like the origin point of all things, a wellspring from which histories flow and futures are shaped.  To the right, an elephant stands in quiet majesty, embodying memory, patience, and the endurance of the natural world. Its presence reinforces the painting’s message: that true legacy is not loud or fleeting, but steady, grounded, and immense.

In “Everlasting,” the past and present stand together, interwoven with the land itself. The artwork whispers that what is cherished, remembered, and honored does not vanish, it transforms, it guides, it returns. Through the eyes of ancestors and the gaze of the earth, we are reminded that life is a circle, and spirit endures always.
