HERE FOR HEALING

There has to be a paradise that was meant for me,

One with soulful eyes to see me,

Loving ears to hear me, and caring hands to console me.

For am I not worthy?

I know, I know I am faulty,

I lost my beauty to the thorns of modernity,

My innocence to the wars of humanity,

Could it get any worse?

It’s a rat race and my feet are burnt,

I crawl back to where I belong,

A safe place to sing my song,

Yes, Yes a place to heal my hurt,

I know, I know I have felt this before
